Measure the room -walls, floor space, windows, furniture. Draw a scale diagram of the room and then draw in where the furniture will go. This will save time and frustration trying to put a large, heavy piece where it won't fit. If you haven't already done this, remove all the pictures and art objects from the walls and flat surfaces. Whatever color the walls may be painted currently, consider painting them all white, off-white or a neutral tone such as beige, cream or light tan. Plan to hang only one piece of art per wall as a focal point.
Although some people believe that nightstands are not a necessity in a bedroom, they surely add a touch of charm. Plus, aside from adding to the aesthetic appeal, modern nightstands also provide you with a space to place your favorite book or your alarm clock. In short, modern nightstands are both functional and attractive at the same time.
Chests and dressers also add to modern bedroom furniture. These chests and dressers are capable of storing clothes, stationery, books, articles, small tools, cosmetics, and even jewelry. Mission bay 6 drawer dresser has enough storage space, so does a 6 drawer double dresser. A mobile 3-drawer chest is useful for keeping articles that have multiple uses.
Modern nightstands are sleek and sophisticated. They are available in many colors but are usually preferred in dark shades by modern enthusiast. They can have chrome fixtures, wheels, float and are made with straight lines, no curves as other styles might have. Modern bedroom nightstands even come in colors such as orange and lime green.
